An Interview With Demi Lovato

A few minutes after her title defense against Anna Kendrick, Celebrity MMA champion Demi Lovato sat down with an exclusive interview with me. 

 

“First, Ms. Lovato, thank you for taking the time to do this interview.” 

“Thank you for having me, Steve.” 

“Demi, I want to talk about your victory this evening, you sure made quick work of Anna Kendrick.” 

“It was a lot of fun, I’ll gladly take on anyone you put in front of me.” 

“That’s good to know, I do have someone in mind for your next title defense.” 

“Who might she be, Steve?” 

“I was thinking about either Megan Boone, or possibly a rematch with Alison Brie, or possibly bringing in someone new.” 

“Who would this new girl be?” Demi asks. 

“I’m right now thinking, possibly about Alexandra Daddario, but, right now, nothing is definite.” 

“I like all three possibilities, but, I must say, I’ll make quick work of all three, I’m a fighting champion, and I intend to stay that way.” 

“Ok. Let’s talk about your upcoming champion vs. Champion bout coming up with KOA World Champion Madison Sex-Kitten. What are your thoughts on that match-up?” 

“Well, Steve. I’ve heard things like: I’m ‘just a singer, pretending to be an MMA fighter’, I’ve heard that from both Madison & her best friend Cali Danger. I’m just as dedicated to the sport of mixed martial arts as those two, and it’s a shame the match isn’t title for title, because I’d walk out the new KOA World Champion.” Demi says, with a smug smile on her face. 

“Well said. I’ve given you a list of contenders I’d love to see you face, is there any one on the roster, or perhaps someone who isn’t on the roster you’d love to face?” 

This brings a chuckle from Demi. “Well, I’d welcome the challenge of any woman who thinks she can take this title off of me. Be it, my good friend, Selena Gomez, or any of the women you mentioned, even, Alexandra Daddario. I’ll beat them all. Hell, it doesn’t even have to be a celebrity. Give me anyone, and I guarantee I’ll beat them.” Demi says, getting up to leave. 

“Demi, hold on...” 

“Steve, just give me my next opponent after Madison, I’ll agree to fight anyone, just give me an opponent. Until then, this interview is over...” She says, grabbing her title and leaving. 

I sit there with a stunned look on my face.

Demi Lovato vs. Anna Kendrick (Celebrity MMA Title Match)

It’s another big night here at the KOA Arena, as Celebrity MMA Champion Demi Lovato puts her title on the line against Anna Kendrick. 

Alicia Vitarelli is still out with injuries she sustained against Ana Morgade, Anna Simon is filling in as backstage interviewer. She’s standing by with the challenger. 

“Anna, how are you feeling heading into this big title match?” Anna Simon asks. 

“I feel confident, Demi is a tough fighter, but, I feel I’m just as tough. I have a feeling that after tonight, I’ll be a champion as well.” Anna Kendrick says. 

“That’s all for now, let’s throw it to our announce team of Chuck, Steve & Ivanna, take it away, guys.” Anna Simon says. 

“Thank you, Anna. Steve, you put this match together, what are your thoughts?” Chuck asks. 

“Chuck, actually I remember the Celebrity MMA tournament, Anna Kendrick didn’t even make it past the 2nd round, losing to eventual runner-up Selena Gomez. Anna is going to have to really step up her game if she wants to be any sort of threat to Demi Lovato. I predict Demi will make quick work of Anna Kendrick.” I say. 

“Ivanna, you look like you have something to add to this, go ahead, please.” 

“Chuck, I would make quick work of either of these two in a bikini contest. Steve, sweetie, let me have one of these two, please.”  

I look at her and blush slightly. “Ivanna, you have an up coming title defense against Ariel Winter, and believe me, it’s not as easy as it seems. I can’t make any promises, but I’ll think about it.” I say, trying to hide my anger. 

“Ok,” Chuck says, “let’s throw it back to Anna Simon who standing by with the champion...Anna...” 

“Thank you, Chuck! Demi, Anna Kendrick sounds really confident, what are your thoughts?” 

“Ms. Simon, Anna Kendrick fails to realize that I train in MMA everyday, this isn’t a hobby for me, this is my life. The winner of this match faces Madison Sex-Kitten in a champion vs. champion bout, and regardless of what Ms. Kendrick says, it’ll be me facing Madison, not her.” Demi says, pushing the microphone away and walking toward the octagon. 

“Chuck, back to you.” 

“Steve, Demi Lovato was the first celebrity you signed for this division. She sounds supremely confident, what are your thoughts?” 

“Demi was the first celebrity I signed, you’re right, as she mentioned in her interview, she trains in MMA constantly. And, as her hit song suggests: ‘What’s wrong with being confident?’ Demi will prove tonight why she is the champion.” 

“Ok, thanks, Steve. It’s time for our main event. Let’s watch the participants make their entrance.” Chuck says. 

Anna Kendrick enters first, wearing a grey sports bra and matching shorts, and she has her red hair in a ponytail. She’s accompanied by her corner crew. 

She gets inspected cageside, receives her mouth piece and enters the octagon. 

Demi Lovato enters next, she is also accompanied by her corner crew. She’s wearing a black sports bra and matching shorts, and her hair is also in a ponytail. 

She gets inspected cageside, receives her mouth piece and enters the octagon, her and Anna shake hands as they pass by each other. 

Both women stand in their respective corners as ring announcer Karen Rogers enters the octagon. 

“Ladies & gentlemen, it is now time for our main event of the evening. 5 rounds for the Celebrity MMA Championship. 

“Introducing first, the challenger: from Portland, Maine, please welcome...ANNA KENDRICK!” 

Anna bows and waves to the crowd. 

“And her opponent: from Los Angeles, California, she is the reigning Celebrity MMA Champion, please welcome...DEMI LOVATO!”  

Demi as well bows and waves to the crowd. 

The referee gives final instructions, the bell rings and both women come out circling. 

Demi immediately shoots in for a takedown, and is successful, taking Anna straight down to the mat. 

They wrestle around for a minute when Demi finally gets dominant position and begins landing hard elbow shots, opening a small cut under Anna’s right eye. 

Eventually, Demi gets up and allows Anna to get back to her feet, only to be sent crashing back down with a leg sweep. 

Demi allows Anna to get back to her feet, but now Demi charges and pushes Anna back against the cage, and now begins stomping on Anna’s feet as they lock up against the cage. 

Just as Demi sends Anna crashing to the mat again with a vicious hip toss, the horn sounds, ending round 1. 

Both women go to their respective corners. 

In Anna Kendricks’s corner: 

“You look lost out there, Anna, get your head in the game. You have to make Demi work for her takedowns, right now you’re making things too easy for her. Get your head out of your ass and get in the game!” 

In Demi Lovato’s corner: 

“Great job so far. You keep this up and she won’t stand a chance against you.” Her corner man says, high fiving Demi. 

Both women are on their feet for round 2. 

The bell sounds, and both women come out circling again. 

Demi connects with a hard kick to Anna’s left side, causing her to gasp and clutch at her side. 

Demi quickly follows up by going for a takedown, taking Anna straight down to the mat. 

After wrestling around for a few moments, Demi is able to lock in an arm bar, Anna screams out and instantly begins tapping. 

The winner and still Celebrity MMA Champion...Demi Lovato 

The doctor quickly comes in to check on Anna, as Demi runs around the octagon, celebrating.

Tonight, after Demi Lovato vs. Anna Kendrick and the post match interview with the winner, stay tuned for a a special interview with former American Reporters Champion and current backstage interviewer Alicia Vitarelli. We'll find out the extent of her injuries and her thoughts about Ana Morgade and her former best friend Cecily Tynan.

An Interview With Ana Morgade

After the vicious beatdown that was put on Alicia Vitarelli, I sat down with the new Unified Reporters Champion, Ana Morgade. 

 

“Ana, first, congratulations, on your, let’s say, controversial victory over Alicia Vitarelli earlier.” 

“What do you mean, ‘controversial’? I beat her fair & square.” Ana says, looking angry. 

“In all fairness, Ana, if it wasn’t for the fact that Cecily Tynan attacked Alicia outside the ring with her shoe, and then with a chair inside the ring, you wouldn’t have won...” 

“Lies, all lies. I beat that bitch myself. And tell that puta, Anna Simon, she sticks her nose in my business again, I’ll teach her a lesson as well.” Ana says, raising her voice. 

“Speaking of Anna Simon, she asked for a title match against you, and I granted it, it’ll be for only one of your titles though, it’ll be for the Intercontinental Reporters title, as I’m also granting Alicia Vitarelli a rematch for the American Reporters title. Of course we have to wait for Alicia to be released from the hospital.” 

“That’s not right, Steve, I hope you don’t expect me to make those defenses in one night.” 

“No, not in one night, but, you WILL make both defenses, or, you’re suspended.” 

“I don’t think I have to worry about Alicia, Cecily will take care of her.” Ana says, laughing. 

“You think that’s funny? Before you came up here, I informed Ms. Tynan that because of her interference in that match, she’s suspended until Alicia is cleared to return to competition, however long that takes. And upon Alicia’s return, she’ll get a match against Cecily, in which, you’ll be banned from ringside, Ana!” 

“You’re kidding, right? That’s completely not fair. I can’t believe you would do something like that!” Ana yells, throwing a cup of water in my face. 

“Hold on to those titles as tight as you can, Ana, something tells me you won’t be holding them for long.” I say, laughing. 

Ana is about the throw something else is my face when the door to my office flies open and Anna Simon comes rushing in and attacking Ana. 

She first knocks Ana over my desk, and relentlessly begins punching her in the face. 

After 2 or 3 minutes, security comes rushing in and separates both women. 

“I’ll tell you what, you both want at each other so badly, I’m making a tag team match, Anna Simon & Alicia Vitarelli vs. Ana Morgade & Cecily Tynan. Now get these two...OUT OF MY OFFICE!” I yell, as security drags both Anna & Ana out of my office.
