A (Kayfabe) Interview With Jessica Mellott #2

“Hello and welcome back to: ‘…Chats with April’ I’m your host April O’Neil. Right now I’m joined by Belly Punching Contest champion: Jessica Mellott. Jessica, thank you for joining me this evening!”

“It’s always a pleasure, April! Thank you for having me!”

“Jessica, you’re on quite a roll as champion, care to comment on this title reign?”

“No title defense has been easy, while yes, I may have won convincingly, it was not easy.”

“Speaking of a title defense, you defend next against Cali Danger, your thoughts?”

“I think Cali presents a unique challenge to me, & I look forward to our match very much.”

“You’ve yet to receive a shot at the World Championship, do you feel this is a slight?”

“No, I don’t feel it’s a slight, I just look at it as there are so many talented women in the WEC. Oh well.”

“Your thoughts on Hunter McGrady?”

“She should stick to being a model & a fashion designer. She has no business in the WEC.”

“That’s all the time we have, Jessica! Thank you for your time & good luck later this evening!”

“Always a pleasure, April!” Jessica says, walking away. 

Jessica Mellott (c) vs. Hunter McGrady Belly Punching Contest Championship Match

We’re now in the backstage area as Jessica Mellott is set to defend the WEC Belly Punching Contest championship against Hunter McGrady.

Both women are in their respective locker rooms getting ready for the fight.

The rules of the belly punching contest are as follows: Both women get a mininum of 5 punches per round, the only way to win a round is to make your opponent say: ‘I Give Up!’, the match last a maximim of 5 rounds, the first to win 3 rounds wins. 

Quinn McKay is with the challenger: Hunter McGrady.

“Quinn McKay here with the challenger: Hunter McGrady! Hunter, what are your thoughts heading into your first title match in the WEC?”

“Quinn, I feel okay, I can’t say the same about Jessica Mellott, she’s going down, & I’ll be the one to face Cali Danger later tonight!” Hunter says, walking away.

Hunter McGrady makes her way to the backstage area, she’s wearing a blue sports bra & matching spandex shorts.

Hunter enters the room & stands against the wall.

April O’Neil is standing by with the Belly Punching Contest champion…Jessica Mellott. 

“April O’Neil here with the Bellu Punching Contest champion: Jessica Mellott! Jessica, this is a huge match, how do you feel?”

“April, I feel okay! I know Hunter is also confident, but, she’ll lose just like everyone else who has stepped up to me. That’s all I have to say, April!” Jessica says, walking away.

Jessica Mellott makes her way to the backstage area, she’s wearing a red sports bra & matching spandex shorts.

Jessica enters the room & stands against the opposite wall.

Ring announcer Cathy Kelley enters the backstage area to make the official introductions.

“Ladies & gentlemen! The following contest is for the Belly Punching contest championship.

“Introducing first: the challenger: please welcome…HUNTER MCGRADY!”

Hunter smiles & waves to the small crowd assembled.

“Her opponnet, she is from Los Angeles, California, she is the…REIGNING…DEFENDING…WEC BELLY PUNCHING CONTEST CHAMPION…PLEASE WELCOME…JESSICA MELLOTT!”

Jessica also smiles & waves to the small crowd gathered.

Hunter McGrady is the challenger & will go first. Jessica stands against the wall. Hunter balls her fist up, & punches Jessica in the stomach 5 times.

Jessica clutches her side but doesn’t give up.

Both women switch positions & now Hunter stands  against the wall.

Jessica balls up her fist & punches Hunter in her stomach 5 times, Hunter drops to one knee & begins sobbing.

“I GIVE UP!” Hunter cries out.

Jessica Mellott wins round 1 & leads the match 1-0.

After a brief intermission, Hunter remains against the wall.

Jessica once again balls up her fist & punches Hunter 5 times in the stomach.

Hunter, amazingly doesn’t give up, but she is crying.

The women switch positions & Jessica now stands against the wall.

Now, Hunter balls up her fist & quickly punches Jessica in the stomach 5 times.

Again, Jessica doesn’t give up, but she is clutching her stomach & gasping for air.

The women once again switch positions, & again, it’s Hunter against the wall.

Jessica once again punches Hunter 5 times in the stomach. Hunter screams in pain & crumbles to the floor.

“I…GIVE…UP!” Hunter cries out.

Jessica Mellott wins round 2 & now leads the match 2-0.

After another intermission, now Jessica is back against the wall.

Hunter now balls up her fist & punches Jessica in the stomach 5 times. Jessica cries out, but doesn’t give up.

Both women once again switch positions, & now its Hunter standing against the wall.

Jessica now balls up her fist & again punches Hunter in the stomach 5 times.

Hunter quickly drops to her knees, crying.

“I GIVE UP…I GIVE UP!” Hunter cries out.

Jessica Mellott wins Round 3 & wins the match 3-0.

Jessica runs around the backstage area, slapping hands with the small crowd gathered.
