It’s one of the biggest nights in WEC history.
When Madison Sex-Kitten defeated Destiny Dumon in their historic rematch, Madison laid down a challenge to her good friend Cali Danger for the KOA World Championship.
And here we are, in the KOA Arena ready for history to be made once again.
The camera catches both women getting ready for their big fight.
Cageside Chuck sits at the announce desk along with myself and my assistant, and Bikini Contest champion Ivanna.
“Steve, Ivanna, welcome once again to the announce desk.” Chuck says, shaking both of our hands.
“It’s our pleasure, Chuck, isn’t it, Ivanna?”
“Yes, it’s always a pleasure to join you, Chuck.” Ivanna says.
“Ok, let’s throw it backstage to American Reporters champion Alicia Vitarelli who is standing by with Madison Sex-Kitten.” Chuck says.
“Thank you, Chuck. Madison, coming hot off the heels of your tremendous victory over Destiny Dumon, how confident are you going into battle with your good friend Cali Danger?”
“Alicia, Cali always seems to have my number, no matter when or where we face, she has my number. But, the last time we faced with a championship on the line, I became the Women’s World Champion. Cali, you’re my friend, and I’ll go into battle at your side any day, but, tonight, you’re going down!” Madison says, walking away.
“I think that about sums it up, Chuck, back to you.”
“Thank you, Alicia. Steve, you’re close with both competitors, what are your thoughts?”
“I think both women are evenly matched, and, it’s like Madison said, Cali does seem to have her number. But, the look Madison had in her eyes, I’ve only seen her like that one other time, and that was when she defeated Cali in a steel cage to become the Women’s World Champion, simply put, Cali is in real danger, no pun intended.”
“Speaking of Cali Danger, let’s throw it back to Alicia Vitarelli who is standing by with the Champion.”
“Thank you, Chuck. Cali, you heard the comments of Madison Sex-Kitten, please give us your thoughts going into the monumental matchup.”
“Madison is right, I had her number until the last time we faced. But, she forgets, the last time we faced in an MMA setting, I beat her. I don’t see tonight being any different.” Cali says, walking away.
“Chuck, back to you.” Alicia says.
“Thank you, Alicia. Steve, you recruited both of these women to join the WEC, what are your thoughts on this epic matchup?”
“My thoughts? This will be a fantastic fight between two evenly matched superstars. They’re wrong about one thing though, their last encounter was not in the steel cage, it was in the first round of the Divas tournament, in which Madison did win.”
“Steve, Ivanna? Prediction time, who wins? Steve, we’ll start with you.”
“Chuck, just going on sheer numbers, I have to say, Madison wins, but, it’ll be a gritty 5 round war.” I say.
“I have to agree, Chuck, Madison has proven how tough she is, and I think she’ll prove it even more here tonight. Madison in 5 rounds.”
“Thank you to both Steve and Ivanna. Let’s take it to the octagon, it’s time for our main event.”
As the challenger, Madison enters first, wearing a pink sports bra and matching shorts. She’s accompanied by her corner staff. As per usual, she gets inspected cage side, receives her mouth piece, and quickly she enters the octagon.
Next, Cali enters the arena, carrying her KOA World championship, and wearing an orange sports bra and balck shorts, and, just like Madison, she’s accompanied by her corner staff. She as well, gets inspected cage side, receives her mouth piece and enters the octagon.
Both women shake hands when they pass by each other.
Once both women take their respective corners, ring announcer Karen Rogers enters the octagon.
“Ladies & gentlemen! Welcome to the WEC Arena for tonight’s main event. And it is for the KOA World championship.
“Introducing first, the challenger: from Charlotte, North Carolina. Please welcome...MADISON SEX-KITTEN.
Madison bows and waves to the crowd.
“And introducing her opponent: Also from Charlotte, North Carolina, she is the reigning KOA World Champion, please welcome...CALI DANGER!”
Cali bows and waves to the crowd as well.
Both women, along with the referee meet in the middle of the ring for final instructions. They both touch gloves and go back to their corners.
The referee calls for the bell and both women come out circling.
Madison scores first with a quick inside leg kick. Cali answers back with a quick jab to Madison’s face.
Madison tries for a takedown, but, Cali quickly stuffs it.
Madison gets back to her feet and Cali scores with a stiff kick to Madison’s left side.
Cali tries for a takedown and is successful, taking Madison down to the mat.
Cali begins throwing hard elbow shots, causing a cut under Madison’s left eye.
Somehow, Madison is able to get Cali off of her. Both women are back on their feet.
Cali again connects with a hard right hook to Madison’s body, sending her down to one knee, but quickly she’s back to her feet.
With that, the horn sounds, ending round 1. Both women are quickly back to their corners.
“Very competitive 1st round, Chuck, let’s just hope the rest of the fight is this exciting!” I say.
“Well said, Steve! Ivanna, what are your thoughts on this first round?” Chuck asks.
“I agree, a very exciting first round. Personally, I’d like to have a go at either one of them!” Ivanna says, with a devilish grin.
I just sit there, shocked looking at Ivanna.
Meanwhile, in Madison’s corner:
“Madison, that wasn’t what we talked about. You have to keep trying to take her down, and you have to do a better job of stuffing her takedown attempts.”
Madison just nods her head in agreement.
Meanwhile in Cali’s corner:
“Great job so far, Champ, keep it up this round. Go out there, take her down and ground and pound her into submission.”
Both women are on their feet for round 2.
The bell sounds starting round 2.
Madison quickly charges, and takes Cali down to the mat, a mere 5 seconds into round 2.
Cali tries to get back to her feet, but, Madison gains the dominant position, and just begins landing elbow shot after elbow shot, opening cut over Cali’s left eye.
After a minute or so of this, Cali is able to power Madison off of her, and both women quickly get back to their feet.
They touch gloves, and begin circling.
Madison sweeps Cali’s left leg sending her crashing down to the mat.
Madison is once again on top, raining down hard shot after hard shot, but, again, Cali pushes Madison off of her.
Both women, once again, are back on their feet.
Just then the horn sounds, ending round 2.
Both women go to their corners under their own power.
“Steve, what are your thoughts on round 2?” Chuck asks.
“I thought that round 2 belonged to Madison, much like round 1 belonged to Cali.” I say.
Meanwhile, in Cali’s corner:
“What happened that round, Cali? Look, it’s clear you’re tied one round a piece with Madison, go out there and dominate. Win this round, Cali.”
Great job that round, Madi. Keep it up.”
Both women are on their feet for round 3.
The bell sounds and both women come out circling, Cali rushes in and backs Madison against the cage, and Cali just begins firing off rights & lefts to Madison’s stomach.
Madison shoves Cali back, but, she’s quickly back on the attack.
Cali continunes her assault on Madison, going from her stomach to her chest to her face, relentless rights & lefts.
Again, Madison shoves her back, and connects with a hard body kick to Cali’s left side.
Cali shoots in for a takedown and gets it, taking Madison quickly to the mat.
Cali begins looking for a submission, but, Madison keeps fighting her off, eventually both women get back the their feet.
At that moment, the horn sounds ending round 3.
Right now, Cali leads on the score cards 2 rounds to 1.
Meanwhile, in Madison’s corner:
“Madison, you need to do a better job with your takedown defense, she’s easily taking you down. I mean, according to me, she’s won two rounds and you’ve only won one. Go out there and win this round, give yourself a chance.”
“You’re doing everything according to plan, Cali. Keep it up.”
Both women are on their feet for round 4.
The bell sounds and Madison comes out charging, backs Cali up against the cage and just begins teeing off on her, rights and lefts to both her face and body.
Eventually, Cali and Madison lock up against the cage, and Madison begins stomping on Cali’s feet until she positions her for a thunderous hip toss, sending Cali crashing to the mat.
Madison quickly gets on top and begins pounding on Cali with vicious hammer fists, causing Cali’s left eye to swell and close.
Somehow, Cali manages to get back to her feet, but, she’s quickly sent back down by a leg sweep by Madison.
Madison backs off and allows Cali to get back to her feet again.
Madison again charges in for a takedown, and is once again successful. Madison now tries for a submission, but, Cali is able to wiggle her way out of it, and gets back to her feet.
At that moment, the horn sounds, ending round 4.
Cali actually staggers to her corner.
“Wow. What fireworks in this incredible match up. Steve, what are your thoughts.” Chuck asks.
“Chuck, I have to be honest, this is exactly what I envisioned when I signed this match, two goddesses of the ring just throwing down.” I say.
Meanwhile, in Cali’s corner:
“Cali, what happened that round? You need to get your head in the game, you’ve clearly won 2 rounds, and I think you’ve clearly lost two rounds. This is the 5th and final round coming up, knock her out and let’s go home.”
“Great job that round, Madison. This is the 5th and final round, and I see it as you and Cali are neck and neck. Just go out there and finish her.”
Both women are on their feet for round 5.
The bell sounds, and both women touch gloves and begin circling.
Cali connects with a kick to Madison’s inside leg, and Madison connects with a hard kick to Cali’s body.
Madison then charges and again backs Cali up against the cage, and just begins firing off rights and lefts, stunning Cali. It gets to the point that Cali isn’t even trying to cover up, and she just slumps down to the mat. Finally the referee steps in, Madison Sex-Kitten in the winner and new KOA World Champion.
The doctors quickly ruch in to check on Cali, as Madison runs around the ring, celebrating, eventually she stops to check on her friend as well.
Karen Rogers makes the announcement, and Madison is presented with her new championship belt.
