The time has come for Teen Summer to take on Katie Cleary for the Undisputed KOA World Championship.
Backstage interviewer Tabitha Bolin is standing by with the challenger, Katie Cleary.
“Katie, this is the final match of a brutal stretch of matches, you’ve yet to win a single match in the WEC, tell me why this match against Summer will be different?”
"I'm not sure how this match will be different, but, if Steve keeps booking me in title matches, I’m bound to win one.” Katie says, walking away and heading toward the octagon.
Katie makes her way to the octagon, wearing a purple sports bra and matching spandex shorts, and she’s accompanied by her corner crew.
Katie gets inspected cage side, receives her mouth piece and enters the octagon.
Tabitha is now backstage with the champion, Teen Summer.
“Summer, how are you feeling heading into this huge title defense?”
“I feel good. Katie doesn’t stand a chance tonight. And as long as I have Steve in my corner, I’ll always be champ! See you in the hospital, Katie!” Summer says, blowing a kiss toward the camera and walking away.
Summer makes her way to the octagon, wearing a light blue sports bra, and matching spandex shorts. She’s, as always accompanied by me and her corner crew.
Summer gets inspected cage side, receives her mouth piece and now enters the octagon.
Summer & Katie briefly come face to face, but are quickly separated.
As soon as both women are in their corners, ring announcer Karen Rogers enters the octagon to make te official introductions.
“Ladies & gentlemen! Welcome to the KOA Arena, and this our MAIN EVENT of the evening! It’s scheduled for 5 rounds, and it is for the Undisputed KOA World Championship.
“Introducing first, from Los Angeles, California…Please welcome, the challenger…KATIE CLEARY!”
Katie smiles & waves to the crowd.
“Her opponent…from Malibu, California…she is the reigning FightGirl Champion, and she is the…REIGNING…DEFENDING…Undisputed KOA World Champion…PLEASE WELCOME…TEEN SUMMER!”
Summer smiles and waves to the crowd.
Both women now meet in the middle of the ring as the referee gives final instructions.
It’s an epic stare down as both women lock eyes, and Summer actually shoves Katie, leading to both women having to be separated.
Both women are ushered back to their corners, the referee calls for the bell and both women come out circling.
Summer immediately shoots in for a takedown, and is successful, taking Katie down to the mat.
Katie quickly manages to get back to her feet, but Summer quickly scores with a stiff kick right to Katie’s side, making Katie clutch at her side.
Summer tries for another takedown, but only manages to push Katie up against the cage.
Both women now lock up in the clinch, after a few seconds, Summer lifts Katie off the mat and slams her down hard.
Katie struggles to catch her breath as the horn sounds, ending round 1.
Katie is still trying to catch her breath as her corner begins working on her.
“You need to defend the takedown a lot better, you did better on the second attempt, but she took you down too easily on the first attempt. Try harder out there, Katie!”
Meanwhile, in Summer’s corner.
“Great job so far, Summer. When the next round begins, shoot in for another takedown, only this time, ground & pound her, pound her into submission.”
Both women are on their feet for round 2.
The bell sounds and both women once again come out circling.
Katie tries for a body kick, but Summer catches Katie’s leg, sweeps out her other leg and takes her down. Katie’s head bounces off of the mat, and it’s actually lucky that Katie wasn’t KO’ed then.
Summer now does begin to ground & pound Katie, causing Katie’s left eye to swell and close. Katie’s nose actually gets broken again and Katie is now bleeding from the nose.
Somehow though, Katie manages to get back to her feet, only to have her leg swept out again and she again crashes to the mat.
Quickly, Summer is back on top, hammering away at Katie with hard elbow shots, splitting Katie’s forehead wide open. Soon Katie’s face is covered in blood.
Soon, the horn sounds, ending round 2.
But, Summer gets in a few extra punches after the horn sounds.
Katie’s corner is outraged as they practically have to drag her to her corner.
In Katie’s corner, they’re doing everything possible in an attempt to revive her.
In Summer’s corner:
“Good job so far, Summer! Keep pounding away on her and it’ll be an early night for all of us.”
With that, both women are on their feet for round 3.
The bell sounds and both women come out circling.
Summer once again shoots in for a takedown and is successful, first backing Katie against the cage, then lifting her up and viciously slamming her to the mat.
Katie again lays there, gasping for air.
Summer now gets on top of Katie and just begins landing hammer fist after hammer fist.
Katie is somehow able to weather the storm, but, Katie for some reason gives up her back, and Summer is able to lock in a rear naked choke.
Katie has no choice but to start tapping, the referee steps in immediately and tries to stop the fight, but Summer refuses to release the hold until Katie simply passes out due to lack of oxygen.
Finally, Summer releases the hold, and now begins celebrating.
