The time has come for Bare Knuckles Champion Patricia to put the title on the line against Katie Cleary in a 12-round fight.
Tabitha Bolin is now backstage with the challenger, Katie Cleary.
"Katie, this is your first real fight with in the WEC, I mean, you're coming off a crushing loss to Monica The Magnificent, and now you’ll take the gloves off for a Bare Knuckles brawl with Patricia. What are your thinking accepting this challenge?” Tabitha asks.
“Simply put, I want to prove everyone wrong, the whole locker room call me a jobber, Katie The Jobber they call me. I’m tired of it, my victory tonight will prove everyone wrong. And Steve, I really want to prove you wrong!” Katie says, walking away.
Katie makes her way to the ring, wearing a pink sports bra, light blue jeans, and white sneakers. Katie is accompanied by her corner crew, she gets inspected ringside, receives her mouth piece and enters the ring.
Now Tabitha is now backstage with the champion, Patricia.
“Patricia, I’m sure you heard the comments only moments ago from Katie Cleary. What are you thoughts heading into this title match?”
“You want to prove everyone wrong, Katie? Good luck with that!” Patricia says, walking away.
Patricia makes her way to the ring, wearing a black tank top, black jeans and black sneakers. She’s accompanied by her corner crew. Patricia gets inspected cage side, receives her mouth piece and enters the ring.
Patricia & Katie briefly come face to face but are quickly separated.
Once both women are in their corners, ring announcer Karen Rogers enters the ring to make the official introductions.
"Ladies & gentlemen! The following contest is for the Bare Knuckles Championship and it is scheduled for 12-rounds of fighting.
“Introducing first, the challenger, from Los Angeles, California…PLEASE WELCOME…KATIE CLEARY!”
Katie just waves to the crowd.
“Her opponent…from Spain…she is the…REIGNING…DEFENDING…WEC BARE KNUCKLES CHAMPION…PLEASE WELCOME…PATRICIA!”
Patricia smiles & waves to the crowd.
Both women meet in the middle of the ring as the referee gives final instructions.
Once both women return to their corners, the referee calls for the bell to start the match and both women come out circling.
Patricia lands the first punch, connecting flush with Katie’s jaw, knocking her straight to the mat.
The referee begins counting, Patricia shoves the referee out of the way and just begins pounding away on Katie. Patricia breaks Katie’s nose, and Katie’s face is now covered in blood.
Patricia now backs off and the referee begins counting, Katie is slow getting up, but manages to get to her feet at 7.
Again, Patricia doesn’t wait and shoves the referee out of the way and again decks Katie, knocking her to the mat once again.
Just as she hits the mat, the horn sounds ending round 1.
Katie’s corner actually had to rush the ring to revive Katie just to get her to her corner.
In Katie’s corner:
“Katie? Katie? You okay? Nod if you’re okay!”
Katie nods her head.
“You need to protect yourself better, it took only a handful of punches to knock you down twice, cover up and protect yourself better.”
In Patricia’s corner:
“Good job so far, Patricia. Keep it up and we’ll have an early night. Okay, all joking aside, you knocked her down twice and really punished her, keep it up, Patricia!”
Both women are on their feet for round 2.
The bell sounds and both women come out circling.
Katie swings wildly and misses, and Patricia connects with a right cross to Katie’s body, backing her into a corner.
Patricia once again begins firing away, landing several unprotected rights & lefts to Katie’s face, tits, stomach and head.
Finally, Katie slumps down in a seated position in the corner and is down again.
The referee begins counting, but Patricia shoves the referee out of the way, and lands a vicious uppercut, knocking Katie flat on her back.
Patricia finally backs into a neutral corner and allows the referee to counting.
Katie barely gets to her feet before the count of 10.
And no sooner is Katie back to her feet, the horn sounds, ending round 2.
Katie once again staggers to her corner.
Katie’s corner works frantically to try to revive her, the referee comes over to check to see if Katie is fit to continue.
Katie nods her head and says she wants to continue.
Meanwhile, in Patricia’s corner:
“Good job so far, Patricia, her corner is ready to throw the towel in. Go out there and finish her!”
Both women are on their feet for round 3, Katie is barely standing, though.
The bell sounds and both women come out. Katie doesn't even have her guard up, and Patricia quickly has Katie backed against the ropes and just begins teeing off on Katie, rights and lefts to the body & face.
Finally, Patricia hits a vicious uppercut, and Katie drops to her knees, Patricia follows it up with a vicious right hook to the side of Katie’s head, knocking her out. Katie now goes face down on the mat.
Patricia now sits on Katie’s back and just punches her over and over again in the back of the head.
Finally the referee and both corners step in to pull Patricia off of Katie.
Your winner, and…STILL Bare Knuckles fighting champion…Patricia…
The doctor quickly comes in to check on Katie, and Katie is once again taken away on a stretcher…
Patricia runs around the ring, celebrating!
