Monica The Magnificent vs. Cali Danger Rounds 6-10

This story picks up after round 5 of Monica The Magnificent vs. Cali Danger.

“What a 5th round between these two, Steve, Brooke, what are your thoughts?” Chuck asks.
“Chuck, it’s just as I thought, Monica is showing she is the superior boxer, Cali may shine in MMA, but, boxing is a different animal. And Monica is showing this is her domain.” I say.
“Steve’s right. I think if we were in an MMA octagon, Cali would win, but, we’re in a boxing ring, and Monica is showing Cali who is boss.” Brooke says.
In Cali’s corner:
“Cali, you’re being outclassed out there, this isn’t MMA, this is boxing, and while you’re a great fighter, you’re not a boxer. Let me throw the towel in.”
Cali shakes her head no.
In Monica’s corner:
“You’re doing great. You’ve broken her spirit, look, her corner is ready to throw the towel in, keep it up, you already won this match. Go out there and finish it.”
Both women are on their feet for round 6.
The horn sounds, starting round 6, and both women come out circling.
Monica scores with a series of punches to Cali’s chest, knocking the wind out of her and forcing her to one knee.
The referee begins counting, and Cali is up at 7, but the referee counts to 8, and lets the fight continue.
Cali scores with a few quick jabs, backing Monica up to the corner, Cali even gets in a few good shots to Monica’s mid section.
Monica turns it around quick though, with one stiff shot to Cali’s midsection, she almost doubled over in pain from the shot.
Monica locks up with Cali and just begins delivering hard shot after hard shot to Cali’s stomach, breaking her ribs in the process.
The horn sounds ending round 6.
Cali needs help getting to her corner.
“Steve, can Cali do anything to stop the momentum of Monica?” Chuck asks.
“I don’t see anything Cali can do except maybe throw in the towel, and I don’t see Cali doing that either.” I say.
In Cali’s corner:
“Cali? Are you able to breathe? I’m throwing the towel in. You’re being killed out there, Cali.”
“NO TOWEL!” Cali yells
In Monica’s corner:
“You’re doing great out there, Monica. You busted her ribs up, keep it up and her corner will have no choice but to throw the towel in.”
Both women are on their feet for round 7.
The horn sounds and both women come out circling.
Cali catches Monica off guard with a vicious right hook that catches Monica on the temple, knocking her off balance and eventually she goes down.
The referee starts counting, but, Monica is up at 2, but, the referee counts to 8, and he lets the match continue.
Cali continues her assault, firing off hard shot after hard shot.
Monica is somehow able to weather the storm, and fires off one quick shot to Cali’s ribs, making Cali double over and drop to one knee.
The referee doesn’t even count he just tells Cali to get up.
Just then, the horn sounds ending round 7.
“Wow, Chuck, I never expected Cali to score a knockdown on Monica. But, I think it’s a case of too little, too late. Monica has dominated this match, I can’t see Cali mounting any sort of a serious comeback.” I say.
In Cali’s corner:
“Good job that round, you were able to knock her down, no one has been able to knock her down in any of her fights. Keep it up and you may not lose too bad in this fight.”
In Monica’s corner:
“Monica, what happened out there? You can’t let one knockdown ruin you, you’re still winning this fight. Go out there and finish it.”
Both women are on their feet for round 8.
The horn sounds and both women come out circling.
Monica scores quickly with a series of quick jabs, knocking Cali back into the ropes.
They lock up, and Monica begins firing off hard punches to Cali’s already broken ribs.
Cali again drops to one knee, but, the referee doesn’t count, instead he just tells Cali to get up.
Cali gets up, only to be knocked right down by a right hook from Monica.
The referee begins counting, Cali is up at 9. And the fight continues.
With that, the horn sounds ending round 8.
“Chuck, this match has been completely one sided, Save for the one knockdown that Cali scored, this match has belonged to Monica.” I say.
In Cali’s corner:
“Cali, listen to me, she knocks you down again, stay down. You’re getting destroyed out there. You have nothing to prove to anyone. Just, stay down.”
In Monica’s corner:
“You have her right where you want her. Go out there and finish her.”
Both women are on their feet for round 9.
The horn sounds and both women come out circling.
Cali comes out and quickly scores with a series of jabs, before scoring with another right hook, knocking Monica down for the 2nd time.

Again the referee tells Cali to get up.
With that, the horn sounds, ending round 9.
Cali stumbles to her corner.
In Cali’s corner:
“Good job that round, you managed to knock her down again. Listen, what we said last round applies again, if you go down. Stay down.”
In Monica’s corner:
“Stop toying with her, finish her, finish her now!”
Both women are on their feet for round 10.
The horn sounds, and both women come out circling.
Monica, charges in, and with one vicious right hook, knocks Cali down, and she’s not moving.
The referee counts to 10, and Cali is still not moving.
