The first round of the Celebrity MMA Tournament continues with Scarlett Johansson taking on Anna Nalick.
Scarlett enters first, wearing a red sports bra and matching shorts, she gets inspected cageside, she gets her mouth piece and she quickly enters the octagon, she runs around for a second and stands in her corner.
Anna Nalick enters next, wearing a powder blue sports bra and matching shorts, just like Scarlett, she gets inspected cageside, and receives her mouth piece and quickly enters the octagon, she as well runs around for a minute, and her and Scarlett shake hands. And now Anna stands in her corner.
The referee gives final instructions, and the bell sounds starting round 1.
Both women begin circling, Scarlett quickly tries for a head kick, but, Anna is able to block it. Anna then shoots in for a takedown, and quickly it's stuffed by Scarlett. Both women stand up with their fists raised.
They touch gloves and begin circling again, this time Anna scores with a stiff right to Scarlett's face, making her back up a couple of steps. Now Scarlett tries for a leg sweep, but, Anna checks it and charges at Scarlett and backs her up against the cage. Anna now begins to work Scarlett's midsection, busting up her ribs in the process.
Anna ends the flurry with another stiff right to Scarlett's jaw, dropping her to the mat.
Anna backs up to let Scarlett get beack to her feet, but, Scarlett is slow to get back up.
Once Scarlett is back to her feet, Anna continues to pound on her, starting with a stiff kick to Scarlett's ribs, further damaging them, and making Scarlett clutch at her side, just then, the horn sounds, ending round 1.
Both women make it back to their corner.
In Scarlett's corner:
"Scarlett, you're getting destroyed out there, when the next round begins, try for a takedown, you need to generate more offense, if you don't, this will be a short night." Her corner man says.
In Anna's corner:
"Great job so far, Anna. Keep it up and we can hit the showers early tonight. Go out there and exert your dominance by trying for a takedown, and it it doesn't work, back her against the cage and work those ribs some more." Her corner man says.
Anna high fives her corner staff, and now both women are on their feet for round 2.
The bell sounds and both women again begin circling, Anna, as predicted charges for a take down and is successful, taking Scarlett down to the mat, and now Anna begins pounding on her, vicious elbows, breaking Scarlett's nose in the process.
Quickly the referee steps in and seperates the two women and has the doctor come in and check on Scarlett.
Her corner staff wipes away the blood and the doctor checks the break, he deems that Scarlett can continue.
The doctor leaves the cage, and the referee restarts the match.
Anna again tries for a takedown and quickly takes Scarlett back down to the mat.
Surprisingly, Anna is able to lock in a vicious triangle choke, Scarlett has no choice but to tap out, the referee quickly steps in and ends the fight.
Anna Nalick is declared the winner.
Anna runs around the cage celebrating for a few minutes, while the medical staff checks on Scarlett.
