Our next match on the evening, Meredith Garofalo makes her first defense of her newly won WEC Arm Wrestling Contest Championship, she faces Juliana Wimbles.
Both women are in their respective locker rooms getting ready for the contest.
Holly Sonders is backstage with the challenger: Juliana Wimbles.
“Juliana, looking up at the betting odds my boyfriend just posted, you’re the betting favorite. Your thoughts?”
“Wow! I just hope I don’t let everyone down tonight. Meredith looked tough against Stephanie. I have my fingers crossed, Cathy!” Juliana says, walking away.
Juliana Wimbles makes her way to the ring, she’s wearing a white sports bra & red shorts in honor of her home country, Canada.
Juliana enters the ring & stands in her corner.
Holly Sonders is now backstage with the champion, Meredith Garofalo.
“Meredith, how are you feeling?”
“I feel okay. Juliana is a tough competitor, but I can win!” Meredith says, walking away.
Meredith Garofalo makes her way to the ring, she’s still wearing an orange sports bra & brown spandex shorts.
Meredith enters the ring & stands in her corner.
Ring announcer Cathy Kelley enters the ring to make the official introductions.
“Ladies & gentlemen! The folllwing is an arm wrestling contest and it is for the WEC Arm Wrestling Contest Championship! This is a 2 out of 3 round contest!
“Introducing first: the challenger: from Canada…please welcome…JULIANA WIMBLES!”
Juliana smiles & waves to the crowd.
“Her opponent: from Denver, Colorado…she is the…REIGNING…DEFENDING…WEC ARM WRESTLING CONTEST CHAMPION…PLEASE WELCOME…MEREDITH GAROFALO!”
Meredith smiles for the crowd.
Both women approach the table, place their right hands in the elbow rest and have their left arm tied behind their back.
The women lock grips, the whistle sounds and the contest begins. Immediately, Meredith goes for the quick victory, but Juliana is stronger than people realize and easily over powers Meredith en route to a 1st round victory.
Juliana Wimbles wins round 1 & leads the match 1-0.
After a brief intermission, the contest continues.
Again, both women put their right arms on the table with their left arms behind their back.
They lock grips as the whistle blows.
Meredith is clearly no match for Juliana who already has Meredith on the brink of defeat yet again.
Meredith tries to hang on but it’s no use, Juliana wins round 2 and the match.
Juliana Wiimbles wins round & wins the match 2-0.
Juliana & Meredith shake hands as Juliana is presented with her belt.
Juliana poses with the belt for several minutes.
